You know when a card is almost done but still looks a little empty? You add a sticker, then another, and suddenly it feels like too much. Sometimes a few small paper shapes are all it needs.
Put a piece of paper in, press it, and there is your shape. Want a few more hearts? Press again. Need some stars for the corners? Do the same.
The 2.5 cm shapes are just the right little size for adding bits here and there. A heart on a birthday card, stars around a child's drawing, little stamp shapes on a gift tag. Use pink paper, yellow paper, blue paper — whatever is lying around. Punch a few out and see what they look like together.
And this is where children will probably have fun with it. Give them some coloured paper and let them make their own little collection of stars, hearts and stamp shapes. They can stick them onto drawings, cards or whatever they are working on. Of course, younger children will need an adult around while using the punch.
The punch itself is plastic and comes in blue and white. It is small, so just keep it in the craft box or stationery drawer. No special setup, no complicated instructions.
